As October approaches, I’m plotting my twisted Alice in Wonderland outfit, and wishing I was able to enjoy Halloween in New Orleans this year.
Amanda Woods is a journalist and producer with more than 15 years experience in radio, television and print. Her first job out of university was working on Australia’s number one radio show, the Alan Jones Programme on Radio 2UE. She then joined the 2UE newsroom as a reporter and newsreader before moving to London in 1998. While in the UK she worked for BBC 5 Live, BBC News 24 and BBC World Television News where she could be found reporting, producing, building and outputting bulletins to more than 260 million viewers around the world. Since returning to Australia she has worked as a freelance producer at Radio 2GB, 2UE and 702. Her television experience includes ABC TV, SBS, and Sky News. She has had articles appear in Vogue Australia, the Sydney Morning Herald, The Sunday Age, The Sun Herald, Mindfood, (not only) Black + White magazine, Cosmopolitan, DNA and more. |
