Hi, I'm Richard Mann of Roy, Utah. I'm just a tad the wrong side of 50, happily married to an attorney, father of two nearly grown kids, and grandfather of a delightful toddler. I'm a CPA, but I spend my days teaching accounting, computer software of all types, and Business English at an Applied Technology College.

I'm also a professional writer, with over 500 articles published in various national and regional magazines and on the Web over the last dozen years or so. I write primarily about computers and writing, but enjoy all kinds of writing (except fiction--I am simply not a tall tale teller).

My one published book (so far) is called "How To Break In as a Mystery Shopper." It's an e-book available at http://www.dreamjobstogo.com/titles/djtg0051.html?10362

I run a couple of other websites, as well. The Bean Bible (http://www.beanbible.com) is a companion site to this one and I also run PC Book Reviews (http://www.pcbookreviews.com) and Utah Facts (http://www.utahfacts.com).

I also read mystery novels as fast as I can and keep a Web page of short reviews of the books I read (http://members.tripod.com/RichMann/Reading_List.html). I keep up with the world of professional magazine and book writing as well. In fact, I found Suite101 through its ad for editors on a computer book writers' mailing list.
