Personal struggles with sleep disorders has affected my whole family.
Abby Deliz pursued writing extensively through high school and college, and she was published several times. Most notably, she published an essay with Newsweek, an essay with the Child, Youth and Family Coalition magazine, and a poem in the Cal Poly Pomona Spring Harvest poetry edition. She was also published by Leviathan, a small magazine run by the University of California, Santa Cruz. At UCSC Abby studied Advanced Creative Writing for two years. She later pursued writing and editing positions and worked for three years manufacturing and editing worker's compensation and personal injury reports for the state of California. In the past year she has gone back to school and earned her Associate's Degree, and she is now pursuing her final year towards a Bachelor's in (surprise!) History. She is doing this while raising a 2 and 3/4 year-old son, a 3-month old daughter, and co-parenting two stepsons with her husband in Anaheim, California. |
