Greetings! My name is Aaron S. Robertson, and I am a 2007 graduate of Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I earned a major in Political Science, minors in both Sociology and Philosophy, an accredited certificate in Integrated Leadership, and a non-credit certificate for a course in entrepreneurship. I am author of the book, Beyond Majors and G.P.A. : A Real Philosophy for College and the World Ahead, published by iUniverse and available at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com, among other booksellers. Additionally, I am a correspondent for my hometown's paper, the Muskego Chronicle, where I report primarily on city government news and events; am co-founder of Intrepid Innovations, Inc., headquartered in Muskego, WI; and am formerly the VP of Marketing and a political analyst for the political/social debate Web site, BipolarNation.com. Intrepid Innovations specializes in Web design, graphic design, Internet marketing, and consulting. We also maintain a personal- and professional-development -themed blog on our site, and recently launched the Intrepid Networking Club for current college students and recent graduates. As of June 2008, I am the Democratic Party's candidate for the 83rd district seat of the Wisconsin State Assembly, running as a conservative Democrat in a primarily Republican district. As of December 2008, I am a candidate for a seat on the Muskego-Norway School District Board. |
