I became interested in writing screenplays after I enrolled in a "beginning screenwriting" class at my small liberal arts college. I initially enrolled in the screenwriting class because I thought it would be an easy "A." What I quickly learned, however, is that writing a screenplay is not something you can sit down and do overnight. It's a very independent process that forces you to be dedicated not only to your characters but to yourself. Now that I've graduated college, I too am exploring the tough world known as the 'film industry.' I would classify myself as a film addict. My girlfriend and I go to the movies one to two times a week. Writing is both my hobby and passion, but I love athletics as well. I'm an avid golfer, runner, and biker. My ultimate goal is to be a successful screenwriter and/or actor. I've been tackling acting classes lately and I found it to be a lot harder than I imagined. After you try acting yourself, you have a brand new respect for the great ones on the Big Screen. Well, that's all I really have to say about myself. Take care and hopefully I'll see you at the movies. (Disgusting, I know!)
