<p>Travelsleuth Stuart Buchanan MacWatt has devoted a lifetime to travel, working with tour operators, cruise lines and resorts in the promotion of winter and summer vacations from the Arctic Circle to Antarctica.</p> <p>Stuart has been Suite101.com's writer on UK Travel since 1998. An anthology of his writings, <b>This Sceptred Isle</b>, was published by Suite as an e-book in 2005.</p> <p>As editor of the former subscription magazine <b>Royal Report</b>, Stuart has co-authored two books; <b>The Royal Travel Guide to London</b> and <b>The Royal Social Season</b> and acted as adviser to Santiago Television, Chile, for their programme Royal London. He is currently working on a walking guide for visitors <b>Architectural London; a Royal Heritage</b>.</p> <p>Stuart now lives on the Isle of Wight where he enjoys writing about rural life, country winemaking and rustic cookery in his weekly diary jottings at his country cottage in Rosemary Lane. When not writing or gardening, he is closely involved in charity work for the UK Charity Caring Cancer Trust, of which he is chairman.</p>
