I live in Alberta, a western province in Canada, and I work as a freelance writer. Writing is one of my greatest pleasures, and I'll happily tackle just about any topic. I like travelling and wish I could do more of it. Past trips have taken me to many of the states in the U.S., including ten trips to San Francisco. I intend to take at least ten more trips there! Some other destinations have been Mexico, Ireland, England, and fascinating ports seen during three Caribbean cruises. In addition, I've visited all but one of the ten Canadian provinces, and lived in four of them. Reading is one of my greatest pleasures. My biggest weakness is mysteries, but I also like biographies, and some fiction. Two recent books that I enjoyed are Jon Krakauer's "Into Thin Air" and Anne Rivers Siddons' "Up Island." I spend a lot of time with my computer, trying to learn more about how it works, and also finding out more about the internet. Another major source of enjoyment is my cat...an old Siamese who doesn't realize that he's not a kitten any more! |
