<p>Pushed to say one word that defines my life, it would be "writer"; I'm afraid I am addicted to it, and have no intentions of stopping.</p> <p>I work professionally as an Information Consultant in a corporate library, and spend my nights hunched over a computer screen too. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science (minor in history) and am studying for my Bachelor of Applied Science (Library and Information Systems).</p> <p>I am also an avid science fiction/ fantasy writer. I have had some sucess, with several short stories published locally and my first novel (Weaver's Web) being epublished shortly. I have also finished another novel (Chasing the Bard) and am in the process of editing it. I have the required fantasy's writers cat (called Sherazad), but long to travel and see real castles. Although I love to travel, I also love home, which is the beautiful and little known New Zealand.</p> <p>The aspect I love most about history is getting in touch with other peoples lives, people we can never meet but none the less can change our perceptions of the world.</p>
