Paul Ruschmann - Profile

<p>Paul Ruschmann, The Beer Traveller, is an editor, writer, and researcher. A native of New Jersey, he has lived in the Ann Arbor area since graduating from the University of Michigan Law School in 1976. Paul is co-owner of Advanced Legal Applications, Inc., which specializes in legislative analysis. He began using the Internet in his research seven years ago, and relies heavily on online sources to stay current.</p> <p>Paul loves to travel, and manages to do so as often as his schedule allows. His favorite places to visit include Canada, Europe, Hawaii, and the West. He's been to nearly every U.S. state, most of the major league ballparks, and many of the world's famous beaches.</p> <p>"Long time beer enthusiast" aptly describes Paul, who for years has scoured the shelves of supermarkets and liquor stores for new and unusual beers. His introduction to American craft brewing came in Seattle, during a summer weekend in 1992. Since then, he's been to brewpubs, alehouses, and beer festivals in more than a dozen countries. His favorite beers include Guinness Draught, Creemore Springs Premium Lager, Mac & Jack's African Amber, and whatever is in front of him at the moment.</p>
