My passion or interest includes creative writing in which I've written children's stories, romance stories, teenage stories and a general fiction novel. The latter is currently on contract to be published by a Canadian Publisher, and the former are unpublished. I also enjoy reading novels and nonfiction texts, as well as listening to music, tarot reading, dream work, and meditation.

By profession, I am an English teacher of adult migrants, having taught students literacy, numeracy, vocational English, and general English, involving analysis of texts and how students can write their own autobiographies. I also owned my own Kumon Study Centre (an after school program for children, supervising them in Maths and English), thus understand children's reading interests and learning needs.

I have a certificate in Professional Writing and Editing, having studied Non-Fiction Writing, Popular Fiction, Writing for Children, Editing and Word Processing.

In 1999, I had a newspaper article published which discussed the details and background to opening up my own Kumon Study Centre as a way of inspiring other self-employed people.

I am a member of the 'Fellowship of Australian Writers' (Victoria) and of the Australian Society of Authors' (Sydney).

My favourite sites on the web include the 'Trace Online Writing School,' 'Writers Weekly', and Writer's Online.''

Thank you.
