Lynn Mason-Pattnosh was literally born into the tourism industry. Her family owned and operated The Goldman Hotel in West Orange, New Jersey (formerly known as Pleasantdale, New Jersey). The resort hotel was the social center of the Orange Mountains from the1940s to the late 1970s. Just a short ride away from New York City, The Goldman was a family centered hotel. Lynn spent endless hours lounging by the hotel pool, as well as learning hotel management skills from the ground up.
After college, Lynn continued her love of tourism (and hotels) and worked for several world-class hotel corporations. Lynn's jobs in the hotel industry have included: server-room service, housekeeping-turndown service, cocktail server, pool server, event planning, guest services, and several positions in hotel entertainment. While working at Caesars Tahoe, Lynn was involved with the opening of Planet Hollywood, as well as helped contribute to the success of the American Century Championship-Celebrity Golf (NBC Sports).
Lynn is a freelance writer and a casting director. Her recent writing and editing achievements include a series of books for low-level adult readers. She has several advanced degrees in the Humanities, Theater, and Education.
Lynn is married and lives in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho. She and her husband dream about retiring to a luxury condominium cruise ship, and traveling around the world fulltime.
