Joe Hay cannot define himself by any occupation. He divides his time between working at various jobs, studying music, literature, art and religion and the endeavor known as self-understanding. He has worked on many different projects in many different places. For example, he has worked on a magazine article on muslim expatriots in Guangzhou, China; he has played fiddle in a dance band in Maryland; and he has helped design emissions control devices for power plants across the country. He currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. |
