<p>Jonathan L. Bowen was born on December 12, 1982 in Portland, Oregon. He will be attending Loyola Marymount for college and majoring in Film Production. Jonathan wrote his first professional article at age 17 for www.ycraze.com and continues to write movie editorials for their website. Jonathan hopes to be a successful author and writer throughout his life. He is a huge fan of Star Wars and spends much of his time either on the Internet discussing the movie series or writing articles for several sites. He finished writing his first book, Anticipation: The Real Life Story of Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace, and has a literary agent in New York representing his work to publishers. He is hard at work on his second book now, which he expects will be done in July 2001.</p> <p>Several of his favorite directors include John Woo, David Fincher, Tim Burton, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, and Ridley Scott. He especially loves martial arts movies starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan, and has a large collection of DVD&#8217;s to show for it.</p> <p>Jonathan also enjoys watching many sports, such as football, basketball, golf, and occasionally baseball. His favorite basketball team is naturally the Portland Trail Blazers, and his favorite football team is the San Francisco '49ers.</p> <p>Jonathan currently resides in a recently constructed 16,000 square foot house with a home theater, a swimming pool, a pool table, and forty acres of land to enjoy. He has one sister, two cats, and two dogs. During college, he'll be occupying one room in a house near campus, not living in a dorm (he cannot work in such a setting!).</p>
