J. Marcus Ross - Profile

After years of hard work J. Marcus Ross gave up a successful career as a Human Resources Manager for the GAP to pursue a freelance writing career. With the support of his wife, family, and friends Marcus set out to finish his first in a series of novels, and expand his freelance writing career.

Thousands throughout the Internet have viewed his short stories discovering the mysterious worlds, intriguing characters, and engaging stories, which inhabit J. Marcus Ross' universe.

"What I love about writing the most is that I get to meet so many amazing and interesting people. I've been lucky enough to be able to do what I love and share that with others."

As a newspaper writer early on in his career Marcus was fortunate enough to have been exposed to veteran journalists who helped mold his writing and research abilities for future freelance writing assignments. His creative writing is accentuated by having grown up in a non-conventional life, as a child, his parents owned a carnival that traveled throughout much of the United States.

"That world is unlike anything you've ever read about. No book or movie has ever done it justice, ever captured what that life is like. It was an amazing experience."

When not sitting behind his computer Marcus can be found enjoying all the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and spending time with the love of his life, his wife, Andrea. They are enjoying the arrival of their first child Tristan X. Ross born August 1st,2001.
