Eugenia E. Gratto - Profile

Washington, D.C. has a reputation for being dull and boring--the land of pinstripe suits and weighty budget bills.

But as a resident of the D.C. area since 1985, I can assure you that this town is anything but boring. I've participated in recreational sports, the arts community, and have worked in D.C. for several years, and I'm the person my friends always come to for advice and information about where to go, what to see and the most fun thing to do.

My favorite things to do in D.C. and the surrounding area? I love to visit the National Museum of Women in the Arts, order a plate of the Enchiladas de Mariscos at Lauriol Plaza, or hike along the river at Great Falls Regional Park. I love the view from the roof of the Kennedy Center and the reflection of the Washington Monument in the polished granite of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This is a beautiful, fascinating, exciting city--you just have to know how to navigate through the details to find the best this area has to offer.
