I have rattled around.

It's the sort of phrase you read in books and aren't really sure what it means until you suddenly look back over a life and career and realise that you have, in fact, been rattling around.

I accidentally had a career in I.T., in what is euphamisitically referred to as "End User Support" writing training documents and answering phones, producing help text and solving problems at the desks of infuriated people all over the UK. During that time, I've been a Researcher and occasional Sub Editor for H2G2 - also known as The Earth Edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - first at Douglas Adams' Digital Village and then more fully after the BBC took the concept and Guide over, hosting it on their site.

I am also a contributor to The Celestial Toybox, the publication of The Doctor Who Appreciation Society, and if this didn't cement my geeky credentials firmly enough I am a founder member of Sonoran Paranormal Investigations, a ghost-hunting group that operates out of Phoenix, Arizona. SPI are a proud member of the TAPS Family network, taking requests for investigations from all over Arizona, from homeowners, businesses and historical sites alike. The team is dedicated to debunking and the application of science and reason to siutations that people term paranormal.

These days I work in International Relocation, which is nearly as interesting as it sounds, and have turned my hand to the thing I love the most - writing.
