I was born in Wales in the UK, and moved to Somerset when I was 18. I enjoy horseriding, metal detecting, and research into local history. Country & Western Dancing; exploring the countryside with Benji, my dog; and writing articles - these are all activities I find of great interest. My first article appeared in a supplement to the 'Your Dog' magazine, when I was one of the winners in a national competition to find Britain's and Ireland's most interesting dog-friendly walks. When I was made redundant a few years ago, I intended setting up my own company called "Writing Standards", which would have dealt with editing and proofreading issues. I had already taken a course in proofreading and, having a good command of the English Language, found no difficulty in obtaining my Certificate. My interest in Homoeopathy arose when Lucky, one of my dogs, developed a nasty skin condition, having lost all the fur on his front leg as a result of the vaccination program. I took him to an Homoeopathist and was absolutely amazed by the response I got. That was nearly four years ago, and since then I have been studying Homoeopathy both from a First Aid and a Constitutional perspective. I have obtained my Certificate covering the First Aid aspect, and am now studying for a Degree. I have been immensely successful in treating myself, my family, my friends and my pets. In my endeavour in trying to fully understand Homoeopathy, I am being driven towards looking for answers via the exploration of both known and unknown avenues of thought. This is taking me along unexplored territory, where treasure lie undisturbed - treasure of the most valuable and beneficial kind: Knowledge - absolutely priceless! I am not religious, as such, in that I don't follow nor commit to any particular religion, neither do I believe in the practice of worship as we have today, but I am pursuing the knowledge pertaining to the existence of life via other channels. |
