This just in: Carol Hoenig's novel, WITHOUT GRACE, has been given the Silver Medal 2005 Book of the Year Award for General Fiction by ForeWord Magazine. Carol Hoenig has written ever since she could put number two pencil to lined paper. Her essays and short stories have been published in a number of magazines, including Raw Story, PaperPlates Magazine, Radical Academy, and her novel, WITHOUT GRACE, was published in September '05 and given rave reviews. Presently, she is working on her third novel, The Lambs' Roar. She also contributed to PUTTING YOUR PASSION INTO PRINT by Arielle Eckstut and David Sterry and published by Workman. Carol was a Marketing National Events Specialist for eleven years for a major book chain. She has participated in several panel discussions, either as a moderator or panelist on a number of topics. Carol is on the marketing roundtable for the National Book Foundation and is an advisory council member for the Small Press Center in Manhattan. |
