<p>I graduated from the College of Charleston (South Carolina) with a BA in English, and I learned almost as much in college as I did working the various jobs, from librarian to garbage man, that paid my bills while I was in college. Now, that I have my college degree, I have decided to teach high school English because I didn't really learn much in high school the first time. I also direct the high school theatre, act occasionally in the community, and now seek an M.A. in English at Georgia Southern University.</p> <p> Along with my teaching habit, I have reverted to an old writing habit. I did learn about writing while I was in high school because I worked for the local newspaper, where I learned that the good writers were those who met the midnight deadline. Since then, I have also published two short stories, an educational article, and some poetry.
