Parent-Child Crafts
Whether your child is a preschooler or a preteen, doing crafts together is a great bonding experience – not to mention a fun way of spending a rainy afternoon. By doing crafts together an adult can help a child do projects much more advanced than the child could do on his or her own. These experiences are important opportunities for children to observe tasks that one day they will be old enough to do.
Parents, or any adult who is working with a child, can help guide children through the process of learning tasks such as using scissors, glue, rulers, needle and thread, and other basic tools of making.
