Simple Herb Drying Rack
Materials: one dowel, cut to desired length Directions: Cut two lengths of twine long enough to tie and hang. Loop one piece twice around one end of the dowel and tie in a knot; repeat on the other end. Turn the dowel to the underside and mark where the cup hooks will go with a pencil. For my drying rack, I used four hooks. Screw the hooks into the dowel so that they hang downward. Tie the two pieces of twine together at the top and decorate with dried flowers if desired. Variations: Go rustic: This rack could also be made with a nice twig, some raffia and some copper wire fashioned into hooks. More than likely, this project can be made from objects already found around the house or workshop. Use your imagination!
