Toronto’s Fall 2011 Creativ Festival is the perfect event for everyone who loves to sew, knit, crochet, quilt and stitch, enjoys arts and crafts or is eager to learn to live more creatively. Show attendees can explore the vendor booths and enjoy fashion shows, presentations and demonstrations: not only is this a great place to mingle with other artsy and craftsy types, the Creativ Festival is also a fantastic spot to shop and learn.
Knitting, sewing and crafts aficionados who are short on time can simply get a day pass, browse vendor kiosks and take a peek at the floor shows in which they're interested, while those who are fortunate enough to be able to dedicate both time and energy to the Creativ Festival can sign up for various classes and workshops... and still have time to shop! Beginners and experts can benefit from the learning opportunities presented by renowned crafts teachers and industry experts who come to the Creativ Festival to discuss trends and share tips, tricks and techniques. Presentations range from free floor shows on topics such as Corset Making, Home Décor, Machine Embroidery, and Threadography® to more involved, detailed workshops and classes where extra fees apply.
Hands-on Classes and Workshops
Festival attendees are encouraged to challenge themselves by exploring new mediums and materials. Learn pearl knotting; knit, purl and twist yarn using looms; explore leatherworking; add zippers to garments; draft patterns; work with polymer clay; find out how to felt with flair. Topics include:

Exhibit Hall Ticket Prices:
Adults: $15 at the door, $14 in advance
Seniors 60 and over: $12 at the door, $11 in advance
3-day pass: $25, available online only. This pass includes a draw ballot – you could win $1000 shopping spree!
Special rates apply to groups, students and youths.
Saturday Night Creativ Festival Gala
A gala complete with charity fundraiser, dinner and fashion show will be held on Saturday
October 22, 2011. The event is sponsored by Swarovski Elements and Create Your Style. Gala tickets are $85 plus HST. Attendees will receive a free gift and will get a chance to win a $1000 Swarovski Elements gift bag.
