Family movie night returns to NBC with Secrets of the Mountain on April 16, 2010. The movie, Secrets of the Mountain, stars Paige Turco, Barry Bostwick and Shawn Christian. NBC is airing a 2 hour backdoor pilot to a potential international co-production series Secrets of the Mountain.
Secrets of the Mountain Reveals Secrets
In the movie Secrets of the Mountain, Paige Turco plays Dana James, a single mom with three kids juggling the demands of her career, stress over her ex's wedding and her children's busy schedules. One day, Turco receives news that someone is interested in buying the mountain cabin property she inherited years ago from her Uncle Henry. Turco then proceeds to set up a weekend road trip for the family to the mountain cabin to sign the papers as a chance to bond with her children. But when they arrive, they quickly learn that the mountain is much more than it seems.

The movie Secrets of the Mountain is essentially about an adventure that brings Turco and her family together in a search for hidden treasure. An ancient secret, series of mysteries and a treacherous quest will see the once tight-knit family starting to work loose. Secrets of the Mountain shows Turco’s family driven deep into danger in an original two-hour movie. Paige Turco’s family encounters unknown twists in the movie as they uncover pieces of a puzzle and they soon come to realize that someone is determined to stop them from solving the riddle at any cost. It's an exciting thriller cum family movie that reminds viewers that when the going gets tough, families don't run away from problems but stick tightly to each other.

Paige Turco is of The Agency fame whilst fans may remember Shawn Christian from NBC's popular soap Days of our Lives. Shawn Christian acts as Tom Kent in the movie Secrets of the Mountain. Barry Bostwick, who plays Turco’s uncle Henry in the movie, is known for his role in Spin City. Paige Turco brought her 6-year-old son on location while shooting the movie Secrets of the Mountain, which was purported to be a whimsical family movie. Turco' son had fun in the faux Aztec ruins and watched his mother, Paige Turco, play action hero right in front of him. Watch out for the fun-filled and adventure packed family movie on NBC at 8pm on April 16, 2010.
