A Word on Brainstorming

Brainstorming is a very useful writing warm-up, and should be done before all kinds of writing.

Brainstorming can take the form of a list, a web, a story map, a graphic organizer, or a simple outline. These are all ways for you to begin to gather your ideas. We'll take a closer look at ways to brainstorm in the next lesson.
