Keeping Track of the Events

Think about things that happen in the story as you read. Which things are important?

With so many events happening in so many places, making an ongoing list is a great way to help you keep track of the places Milo has been.

Here's one great way to help you do just that. After you have finished reading this chapter, start to make a Chain of Events.

You'll need strips of construction paper about 3 inches wide and 10 inches long.

On the several first links, write down events from chapter one and link them together. Hang your chain where you can read the events. This will be an ongoing project throughout the book and you will be adding to it as you read.
