About Norton Juster

Norton Juster was born on June 2, 1929. He is best know for his book, The Phantom Tollbooth. It was first published in 1961. He also wrote The Dot and the Line which was published in 1963.

Norton Juster was also an architect. When he wasn’t writing, he was a professor of architecture at Hampshire College. He retired in 1992. He and his wife now live in Connecticut.
