Why Jesus Came to Earth

Jesus did not only come to earth to perform miracles and tell parables. He did not come to earth just to tell us what heaven would be like, or how God cared for us. He was on a mission. This was a mission that no one else on earth could fulfill. He came to earth because there was no way we could live in heaven with God because of the sins that we committed. God knew all along that we would not be perfect humans. Therefore, we would always make mistakes and do things that we know we shouldn't. But, that did not stop God from loving us. He still wanted a way for us to be with him forever.

People in Bible times had heard from prophets long ago that a Savior would be sent to them. This Savior would conquer all evil. He would be brave. He would protect us. He would make a way for us to live with God in heaven. Oh, how the people wanted this day to come soon!
