Here is a neat way to remember that prayer is an important part of your life as a Christian. You can make a Prayer Rock! Go outside and find a small flat rock. Wash it and dry it off. Paint your rock with acrylic paint (watercolors will not work very well with this project). Pick any color you like. When the rock dries write PRAYER ROCK on it with a permanent marker. Spray it with a clear coat lacquer. Now place your Prayer Rock in your room, under your pillow, or anywhere that you will see it every day. When you see your Prayer Rock, stop and talk with God, if only for a few seconds. Thank Him! You have much to be thankful for. 1 Thessalonians 5:16,17 says, "Be joyful always; pray continually..."
