Lesson 1: Food Preparation
This lesson will teach you how to handle foods properly to avoid the spreading of bacteria, which can cause food poisoning or e-coli.
Kitchen Hygiene
Before you start creating all kinds of mouth watering goodies, there are a few things you must do. These points are important. They will assure that the food you prepare won't make you, or anyone else that eats it, ill. Hands: Your hands can spread bacteria and get into the food that you are preparing. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and very warm water: Before touching any kind of food. After using the washroom. After touching pets. After sneezing, coughing or blowing your nose. After touching raw meat, poultry or fish.
