Lesson 8: Astrology and Feng Shui

Purple- White Flying Stars Feng Shui

The key difference between the 9 mansions technique and Purple-White Flying Stars is that the basic Lo Shu technique assumes that the stars are fixed in each palace, and the Flying Stars school believes that the stars "fly" through each palace in different configurations depending on the point in time we currently occupy. There are period stars, year stars, month stars and daily stars.

A very powerful program for calculating the individual Feng Shui of each house is available from www.delemme.com called Lu Qi 2004. This is shareware, and also gives the names of our Nine stars as referenced to our Zi Wei Dou Shu stars. This way, once again we can personalize our analysis to suit the individual astrology chart of the occupants.

A detailed analysis of this highly complex study is out of the scope of this course and could well be a course of its own! Some key points to remember:

  1. Feng Shui based on generalities is not accurate - Feng Shui that takes into account your unique astrological configurations is much more powerful and results in life changes.
  2. The Feng Shui of each year, day, month and period changes. What worked in one period or year will NOT necessarily work in another. A good software program OR using the Chinese almanac to see the daily Lo Shu is in order to make sure one is in alignment with the prevailing energies.
