Lesson 3: Are you reacting?

A brief comparison between physical and chemical reactions, the usefulness of acids and bases, and a short intro to biochemistry and enzymes.

Introduction

In this lesson, we will go over chemical reactions, describing how they are different from physical reactions, and how you can tell which one you are seeing. Chemical reactions are always accompanied by one of more of the following changes: forming of a solid, forming of a gas, change in color, change in heat. Acids and bases are a specific type of chemical reaction that we use daily.
