Medical Payments

A widely misunderstood part of auto insurance is Medical Payments. It is not to be confused with Liability discussed above. Medical Payment insurance covers you and in some instances your pasengers for injuries that you sustain that are not covered by the other driver's insurance. In some instances, Medical Payment may come into play if the other driver's limits of liability have been exhausted. Medical Payment insurance is not frequently used, but it is inexpensive in cost.
