Lesson 1: Going, Arriving and Getting Around

Assignment

- Make a list of items you absolutely have to take if you move away to college
- Make a list of items you’d like to take but are not essential.
- Imagine a small cubicle as a room, and figure how much of the above you should be able to fit in there.
- Research the kind of residence set-up the college of your choice has (dorm style, apartment style, etc)
- Find out if your college is going to assign you a schedule and a fixed set of classes to take or if you have to choose yourself. If it is the latter find out everything you need to know about your classes; what they are prerequisites for etc, and compile a list of courses you should be taking in your freshman year. Use the system described in section one of this lesson
