Lesson 5: PowerPoint 2000
Using the Wizard
The wizard is a very handy tool if you do not wish to design your presentation from scratch. In just a few minutes the wizard helps you to organize your content and to design a style. To use the wizard:
- Click on File – New
- Click on AutoContent Wizard
- Click on OK
The AutoContent Wizard gets you started by providing ideas and an organization for your presentation. It includes Presentation type, style and options. - Click on Next
- Select the type of presentation you’re going to give.
Click on the All button to get a complete listing of the presentation styles available
Let’s click on Carnegie Coach – Motivating a Team
- Click on Next
- Choose the type of output you will use. Options include On-screen presentation, Web presentation, Black and white overheads, Color overheads, and 35mm slides
Let’s choose On-screen presentation
- Click on Next
- Enter a Presentation title
- Click on Next
- Click on Finish to view the presentation format
To edit the content of each slide, simply click on the text in the left frame and type your text.
