Two of the best books for this section are listed in the Resources, there is one more wine book that I would like to single out for more indepth knowledge. Karen McNeil's, The Wine Bible, 2001, Workman Publishing Co., is a thorough, user friendly discussion of wine. It is not snobbish and is an excellent resource if you find Wine for Dummies not as comprehensive as you would like. Otherwise, I have listed in the Resource section some of my favorite web sites for both wine and beer that were not included in the lesson.
