We will take up the six purposes cited and demonstrate their relevance with respect to Hindu mythology. I will try and use new material for the illustrations and leave it to you to think through the topics covered and see how they fit in.
We shall use all three texts. In addition, there is a wealth of material on Hindu mythology on the Internet. We will make full use of this.
