The big day approaches and you must now be truly on your toes. If your mare or foal needs help, you want to be there. It is a shame when a foal doesn’t make it because the owner was not paying attention to the signs. But even if your mare foals with no problems, it is one of life’s most exciting pleasures to see a new foal enter the world. I hope you are able to be present at the beginning of your dream horse’s first breath and hear it’s first nicker of wonder.
