Make a list of your mare’s strengths and weaknesses, including conformation and personality traits. Then make a wish list of stallion qualities you would desire. Then go ‘shopping’. Find several stallions that fit your requirements, but list also the drawbacks if there are any. Then if you decide after this course to breed your mare, you have a starting place to find ‘Mr. Right.’
