Lesson 5: Traveling with Adults
Adults are any people of legal age. These adults may be your grown up children, your in-laws, your parents, or your siblings. For adult companion groups, you may need to be aware of issues such as cost sharing and finding activities to suit a number of abilities and interests.
Transportation
It is assumed that most adults can entertain themselves during travel. Therefore, I will not discuss entertaining adults during travel.
Adults are often eligible to receive discounts on travel. For instance, some busses, trains, airlines, and cruises have companion fares or a second fare for a reduced rate. Other discounts include off-season and non-peak travel discounts. Also watch for seat sales. By belonging to various travel clubs, you may realize even further savings. Groups rates and group discounts are also available on most transportation types.
