Lesson 4: Traveling with Teenagers

Vacation Ideas

Take your teenager on any vacation type. However, keep his or her personality in mind. Let your teenager have input into your vacation plans. Teenagers may be old enough and responsible enough to go on their own adventures and meet you later.

Depending upon your teen's personality camping, adventure tours, sightseeing, museums, amusement parks, theme parks, movies, theater, cruises, spas, learning vacations, stay in one place vacations, or university tours might be all great ideas. Even formal tours may be appropriate for your teen.

Your teen will appreciate the vacation more if he or she is able to interact with other teens. You may even want to think about bringing your teen's best friend. Just be prepared, two teens are moodier than one.
