Lesson 4: Traveling with Teenagers

Accommodations

Privacy is an important issue for teenagers. Your teenager may require quiet time to read or relax without other family members around. You may want to think about separate rooms or tents for your teenager. Just be sure the rules about behavior are clear.

Just as with travel, students are often eligible to receive discounts on accommodations. Student rates are sometimes available. Low per person rates may also be available at hostels.
