Lesson 1: Traveling with Babies

Food

While your baby will most likely sleep when you are traveling, he or she probably won't sleep at the restaurant when you want to eat. As with hotels and bed and breakfasts, most restaurants won't appreciate the disruption a crying baby can bring. Also note, that in some places, breast feeding in public is frowned upon. If possible, schedule restaurant visits after feeding time or during naptime.

Other alternatives to restaurants include eating take out, eating fast food, or having a picnic of market or food fair items.
