Lesson 6: Research- The Basics
Are you confident with your basic search skills? You can now start searching for further information on your accommodation, food, and transportation preferences. This is another enjoyable and imaginative part of travel planning.
In this way, the next step to good travel planning is to search for pertinent information on the basics. In this lesson, you will learn where and how to find information on specific accommodation, food, and transportation types. Later you will organize this information into your existing framework.
Accommodations
Using your number 5 then 4 Accommodation preferences, try some of the basic keywords and links below. Using the Basic Question Links Form found in the Exercise section of this lesson, or on a piece of paper write the title “Accommodations”. Jot down your 5 and 4 preferences and any appropriate links.
In the comments section of the Basic Questions Links Form, write down any useful information such a specific hotel or cost of campsite. Continue searching from general topics to specific information. In other words, start looking for hotels in New York and eventually progress to finding out the prices and amenities at the Hilton. Feel free to go beyond the links below to sites that more specifically suit your preferences. Share your new keywords and links with others on the discussion board.
