The Web

The web is a great place to research just about anything. It is also a fabulous place to look for employment. In the case of live-in nanny positions, both families and agencies post openings on some of the major job sites as well as some smaller industry-specific ones too. Additionally newspapers post their classified ads online but usually after the paper comes out in print.

Nanny postings can now be found on some of the larger job sites. You should check out monster.com and hotjobs.com. Most of the positions you will find on the web are openings advertised by agencies so the web is not the best place for you to find families looking for childcare. That is not to say that you cannot find posting for this very thing. As always, read things carefully and ask lots of questions. The web is the best place for you to gain knowledge about agencies and job searches in general.
