Conclusion

Well we covered a lot in this lesson, but you can just take it at your own pace and play around with the code. Change some of it to see what effect it has on the process. Remember to keep a copy of the spreadsheets with their macros so that you can recover from anything unfortunate!

I hope that you found this topic interesting and that it gives you the interest and confidence to try macro writing on your own.

In the next course, a more advanced one, we will look at a couple of bigger projects - one to automate the validation of the monthly forecast using a userform and involving multiple spreadsheets. The other is an interesting project where I had to create a Word document in Excel - sounds crazy, but it does make sense when you look at the problem to be solved.
