Wallpapering Tools
You probably already have many of the basic tools you'll need for hanging wallpaper: a large flat surface like a worktable, ladder, large sponges, large scissors, pencil, measuring tape, level, drop cloths, craft knife with disposable blades, a straightedge, a chalkline plumb, and sandpaper. In addition, you will need:
- good quality wallpaper primer
- premixed adhesive (unless your paper is pre-pasted)
- 3" masking tape
- a broad putty knife, or plastic smoothing tool
- a water tray (or deep wide sink close to your work area)
- sufficient number of rolls of paper from the same "lot" (see Wallpaper Chart in Lesson 2)
- seam roller
