The Don’ts of Aromatherapy: Essential Oils NOT Recommended for Personal Use

Essential oils are a miracle of nature, an incredible gift that the natural world has given us to cherish and protect. They possess incredible medicinal healing and cosmetic qualities. Some of them can relax, distress, enhance memory and emotional well-being. Others possess analgesic, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, skin rejuvenating properties. Others, however, can be photo-toxic, neuro-toxic, abortive, carcinogenic, or irritant to the skin. It’s our responsibility to respect the power of nature.
