Introduction
This objective of this lesson is to learn about the people who were involved in shaping the events we're discussing. By the end of the lesson, you should be familiar with the King, the Earl of Essex, and the other main players as well as understand Parliament's role. This will help with further lessons, when you will be able to assess these individuals and their impact on the history of the 17th cntury.
