We have reached the end of this course on the Holocaust. As the course title states we have only been introduced to the beginnings of the Holocaust. We are left at this point with a sense of foreboding. We know what is approaching in the story of the European Jews. We know the end of the tale.
Many studies of the Holocaust are similar to the movie Memento. We are working backwards to reach the beginning of the story.
