Job SearchesLesson 2: Now Do It!Not the final conclusionYour resume should constantly be updated, edited and changed. As I do contract work I constantly send out my resume. If I have no response from anything in a given month, I re-edit my resume because I’ve lost touch with the marketplace, and I can’t afford to do that! (Yes, it can change that fast). I keep two major resumes – one for training and one for writing. They both have the same information, but emphasize one or the other. This makes it easier for the reader to get the information that is important to them. The purpose of your resume, along with your cover letter, is to get you that interview. Then you have to live up to the promises you wrote about – so tailor it to you. And good luck! The next section/lesson will take you through your Cover Letter.
